Jumbo Nursery Stone blocks are versatile. There are beveled blocks for easy assembly of straight, or winding walls. Utilize the square sided block on top as a finishing cap to your wall.

3. The bottom heel enables the block to hook over the course below, securing the block and providing the proper set-back.

Easy Installation

1. Begin at the lowest elevation. Determine the line of wall. Dig a trench 6" deep and 12" wide. Fill trench half full with level compacted gravel. Check for level side to side, front to back.
2. Install base course of blocks, level side to side, front to back. Fill between and behind blocks with gravel. Sweep excess from top of blocks.
3. Position remaining blocks on top of first course, utilizing the cross bond pattern. Continue checking for level.
4. Fill between and behind blocks each course. Compact the gravel and check for level. Sweep excess gravel from blocks.
5. Finish wall and landscape.

Guidelines & Information

• Soil conditions, land slope and water table affect final design.
• Walls require a minimum 2-inch of gravel base.
• 6" Jumbo Nursery Stone is typically suitable for walls up to 4 feet tall. Consult local codes and site conditions to determine your specific limitations.
• Determine square footage of wall by multiplying height X length. Total blocks needed: sq. ft. X 1.5.

Tools & Materials

Shovel, wheelbarrow, level, string line, and wooden stakes. A 3/4" minus gravel is recommended.
